We are Mia and Tomi Laamanen from Siuntio kk, Finland. We have know each other since 1992 but it was 1998 when we fell
in love. We have been married since 2001 and we have have at home our five dogs, 11 years old border collie male Wäinö,
8,5 years old border collie bitch Aino, 4 year old border collie bitch Win, 2 years old border collie bitch Spice and
2 months years old border collie Sun. Even Flint is not onwed by us we feel that he belongs to our family tightly.
My two oldest dogs have died, 15 years old Finnish Lapland dog bitch Epi died in December 2005, 12 years old Finnish Lapland dog bitch
Likka died in May 2006 and 10,5 years old border collie male Flint died in Mrch 2009.
Tomi is working as strategy professor in
Institute of Strategy and International Business in Helsinki University of Tehnology. We have together our own company
Stratwin Oy and I'm working in there.
I started agility with Epi in late autumn in 1991. With Likka I started agility 1996 and she competed in class 3 before retirement.
Wäinö is now also retired, he is a Finnish and Swedish agility Champion. Aino is competes in class 3. I also competed with a
Danish-Swedish Farm dog female Lillan a couple years ago. Win shall be Tomi's agility dog and I do a little bit obedience
with her. I have been an agility coach since 1992 and obedience coach since 1994.
I have also been responsible for organizing agility competitions since 1994. I graduated to become an agility judge in 1997.
I have judge in 17 different countries and I have judge the Agility World Championships 2006 in Basel, Switzerland.
Nowdays I judge only 7 to 10 competitions per year because I'll try to find time to compete more with my dogs. I have worked
also as flyball judge. With Likka, Wäinö, Flint, Aino, Win, Spice and Sun Tomi and I have trained agility, obedience, herding,
working trials, water rescue, canicross and flyball.

My other hobbies are reading and working in different assosiations.
Tomi and I also do jogging and mountain biking. Together we travel a lot and we also love wine tasting and cooking.
